A Night in Nashville
"A Night in Nashville" is an annual fundraiser hosted by The Front Porch. The event brings a bit of Nashville's music culture to Charlottesville, combining live performances, local community spirit, and a shared goal of supporting music education and programming. Funds raised during the evening help The Front Porch continue offering lessons, concerts, and outreach programs that make music more accessible across the area.
This Year's Event
This year's event was held at Three Notch'd Brewing Company, which set the stage for a lively and welcoming night. Guests were able to move freely throughout the space, whether they were enjoying live sets from two bands, grabbing food and drinks, or taking time to browse the silent auction. The layout made it easy to take everything in without feeling rushed, so people could settle in and enjoy the experience at their own pace.
The casino room added another layer of fun to the evening, giving attendees a different way to engage while still supporting the cause. It brought a bit of extra energy into the mix, balancing out the live music and social atmosphere. Throughout the night, the overall vibe stayed relaxed and upbeat, with a steady rhythm of music, conversation, and activity that carried from beginning to end.

Our Part in the Night
As a sponsor, Flow Toyota of Charlottesville was excited to contribute something interactive to the event. We showcased a Toyota Tundra and invited guests to take part in a game we called "Name That Nashville Artist!"
It was a simple idea, but it quickly turned into a great way to connect with people throughout the night. Guests stopped by, tested their country music knowledge, and had a chance to contribute to the cause in the process.
For every correct answer, we donated $1 to The Front Porch. By the end of the event, there were 25 correct answers-adding an extra $25 toward supporting their programs.

Events like "A Night in Nashville" highlight how strong the connection is between music and community in Charlottesville. The Front Porch continues to play an important role in creating spaces where people can learn, perform, and simply enjoy music together.
For us, being part of the evening was about more than just showing up-it was about supporting an organization that brings people together and helps keep local music thriving.
